Client Support & Booking Policy

This guide outlines how to manage your training, exams, audits, and other Food Protection Project services. Please review carefully to understand your options for cancellations, rescheduling, disputes, and assistance.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that sometimes life happens and plans change. Our policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our Food Safety Partners, who often travel long distances to provide you with the best training and exam experience. Whenever possible, we encourage you to reschedule in advance.

Late Cancellation/Reschedule

  • Free Window: You may reschedule your booking up to 72 hours before the start time at no cost.

  • Within 72 Hours: If you cancel or reschedule within 72 hours of the start time, a $75 late fee will apply.

  • Credit: You will receive a credit for the original booking amount (minus any applicable fees), which can be applied toward a future booking.

Missed Booking

  • If you do not attend your booking and fail to cancel or reschedule in advance, a $119 missed booking fee will be applied.

  • You will still receive a credit for the original booking amount minus this fee, which can be used toward a future booking.

Refunds

  • No Refunds: All bookings are non-refundable. Instruction access, prep course access, exam codes, and other materials are automatically ordered at the time of booking.

  • Credits: Credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, but they may be applied toward future bookings.

ServSafe Training & Exam Booking Assistance

  • For help with a new or existing booking—or with your FIFO Rewards account—you have several convenient options:

  • Chat Support: Use the chat feature on our website for quick assistance.

  • Phone Support: Call 866-993-6288 to connect directly with a Food Safety Partner.

  • Self-Service: Log into your account on our website or through the FIFO mobile app to manage bookings, reschedule, or view account details.

  • If you are a FIFO Preferred Member, please refer to your welcome communication or the mobile app for your dedicated support phone line.

  • ⚠️ Important: If you purchased a training or exam directly from ServSafe or another third-party provider, please contact that company’s support team for assistance.

Food Safety Auditing & Consulting Assistance

  • Audit Disputes & Reports: To dispute the results of a Food Safety or Brand Protection audit, or to submit a regulatory authority inspection report, please use the online portal or email Support@thefoodprotectionproject.com.

  • Rescheduling Audits: To reschedule a food safety audit, please use the site chat feature or call 866-993-6288 to connect with a Food Safety Partner.
